Tired. My family seems to cause a lot of stress, both within the family and otherwise. I'm kind of tired of listening to my mom bitching and then hearing her deny that she bitches. I bitch but at least I do own up to the fact, and I acknowledge I'm not easy to live with. (I know. There are days *I* can't stand myself, how can anyone else be expected to? It's something I'm trying to work on.)

I'm looking forward to Japan. I know I'm going to be discriminated against and it's going to suck. My parents don't get me wanting to dye my hair (partly because I can and partly so I can get used to discrimination). They say it'll just hurt me with "the people I need to like me". Fuck that. The people I care about liking me, do. I have friends and those are the people whose opinion I care about. Anyone else's opinion is totally secondary.
