Mosquitoes' Toes and Wampfish Roes, Most Delicately Fried

Finally got around to the date I tried to set up for the first. It was ok, except I totally forgot that Adventure Landing is the Thing To Do for apparently half the families in the city on Saturday nights. And both of us were getting eaten by the bugs. and, oh yeah, I kissed him and he wouldn't kiss me back. Said he was too good for me or something, that there are better guys out there. Yeah, well that's nice. They've all hooked up with the girls better than me. It's like, damn, I try to find a guy who I might stand a chance with and he turns me down too.
Two rejections in less than a week. I'm really questioning why I bother to get up in the mornings.
